Western Sydney International Airport
Landside civil works, runway construction, terminal builds, and connected road and rail packages. Heavy equipment demand through delivery and commissioning.

Western Sydney International Airport (Nancy-Bird Walton) is Sydney's second major airport, being delivered at Badgerys Creek to service growing Western Sydney demand and take pressure off Kingsford Smith's long-standing capacity and curfew constraints. Operations are targeted to begin in 2026 with an initial runway, terminal and landside package.
Scope covers one 3,700m runway, a passenger terminal, airside infrastructure, bulk earthworks across the large site, landside roads including the M12 Motorway connection, freight-handling precincts, and the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport rail line running from St Marys through the airport to Bradfield. The airport is designed for expansion to a second runway as demand grows through the 2030s and 2040s.
Earthworks have been largely completed. Terminal construction is in advanced stages, with runway paving, systems integration and landside works progressing. The M12 Motorway and Metro line construction run in parallel with connected commissioning.
Equipment demand continues through commissioning across civil finishing, haulage, specialty plant for aviation and rail works, and facility fit-out. Tier-1 principals subcontract bulk haulage and civil packages to sub-tier operators through to opening.
